Puff, puff.....

The Club is now Open

Welcome again to all who enter.

Tonight's talk is to be given by a mystery speaker who has promised to show us slides of their holidays in the UK and abroad.
The equipment and chairs have been set up in the big sitting-room upstairs .
Clearly an event not to be missed.

So far for tonight's raffle , I have

5 green bottles
5 eggs (sell by 12th May 2012)
5 spice powder ( half a pack)

I most certainly would not bring any seaweed along with me because I know Mamya would only eat it
Good evening miss sackville - I must apologise, but tailcocks are generally only served in one of two measures - flagon or bucket...

Your (ahem) duffel coat has been well & truly hidden.
Question Author
Welcome, Sackville.
Thank you for all your raffle contributions.

Hope I win the gummed paper strips...just got time to get the paper chains made for Christmas.

PB what a marvellous idea for an iceberg's birthday party....are you a party planner to trade ?
dave, is that your new hobby, hanging around rough Northern ports?
I have taken the liberty of letting the speaker in - he was tapping at an upstairs window.

Mr Alucard says he would like a Bloody Mary and will commence the pictures of his holiday with "Whitby by Night".
Question Author
Thank you , sunny.

I wonder if he also has Cleethorpes by night ?
Just to let you know my complete repertoire as a public speaker, I also do a 2 hour monologue entitled

"How to Let Your Opponent Win at Scrabble Without Him Realising"
How many titfers make a flagon do you suppose?
Is that really safe Milady??
Question Author
I'm sure we could use that too, Mrs O.

The speaker seems to have started up upstairs....I can hear faint snores....
I have only seen a titfer used to make tat, miss
Question Author
Safe ? safe?
I whistle in the face of safe.
Tonight I am devil-may-care.
Sorry milady , that may of been my snoring while I await refreshment.
Question Author
I've never been able to tat...could never get the hang of it...perhaps because I never used a titfer....struggled on with a shuttle.
Another flagon, miss flump - I have made a note that you appear to be extra-thirsty this evening...
Question Author
Butler !
Butler!
We have a thirsty flump.
I once tatted a titfer, came out too large though.
No milady I am not a party planner. This was a one-off. We had a great time. We nearly hit a ferry. Luckily it was foreign.
Thank you for that drink LiK very much appreciated .
Question Author
I am full of admiration, Mamya.
I doff my titfer to anyone who can tat.
