Once again, we have reached Friday night And now wait for Sir Samurite, To guess how he thinks Predicting his Links And score points for getting them right!
This will be the first round in the reign of Sir Samurite and, for yet another week, I have had a remarkably easy time to prepare for the next MM Links Contest. Look out for his first launch, which should take place tomorrow at 8.45am with his four words to be linked being declared at 9.00am.
This week should also see the continued successful return of seekeerz from Oz, who is the gatekeeper for the international version of this same game (called KM Links) and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Why not try your hand at BOTH games.
This is the first Friday in the month and therefore I have my own Quiz at the local Cricket Club ~ so I'll keep this short. The clock already reads 19.00, so I'd better get this posted for the ramblings of the Shrubbery Squad!
As for me, I am crofter, Keeper of the Rule Book and Sacred Abacus.
Blimey, Pauline, I'm joining the knighted Samurai on his next bus journey to you to share those cans.
As to name-dropping - do you want nobility, pop-stars or nobodies? There's a particularly nubile young barmaid in my local who might be of interest to Sir S, unfortunately I don't know her phone number.
Pauline, I think I may have had a drink in one of the pubs in Salisbury that Sir Sushi might have frequented - does that count or do you want "Hello" type poseurs?
I once know a person whose second cousin's neigbour was in Manchester when the Queen visited...and they were next to somebody on the bus coming home who had taken a picture of her!! How's that??!!
Pauline, the fact that I might have drunk from a glass, in a Salisbury hostelry, once used, albeit having been washed, by his Excellence Sir Samurite means that there is no-one more exalted in my past experience that I need to refer to. Forget Royalty, MPs, pop stars and other riff-raff Sir S is King.
Just popped in to say hello before retreating again - Dont think I dare stay in such exalted company. Ive met no-one (except Pauline, and as shes met just about everyone else perhaps thatll do)
