The Club is now Open.

Good evening all.

It has come to the attention of the Committee that the electricity bills for these premises have increased to enormous proportions. They are now electricity williams.
Consquently, they have asked that members ensure that all windows and doors are closed to prevent draughts and that all unnecessary lights are switched off.

Candles have been provided in various convenient locations, but members must provide their own matches.

The chimenea is no longer in use. Those wishing ciggy breaks must make their own arrangements with coals, shovels etc.

Tonight's raffle prizes, appropriately, include

a fleecy blanket (some dog hairs)
a hot water bottle cover (pink, knitted only one hole)
half a pair of blue bed socks
half a pair of orange bed socks

Any further prizes will be gratefully received.

Good evening alex, what a night this is, Prudentia is having a hissy fit with ladyalex for some imagined or imaginary slight. ttfn stands accused of winning a lottery prize by nefarious/devious means and the moat is rising, I just hope we can cross the drawbridge before we have to swim for it.

Is Question of Sport still on? A friend of mine went to a recoding years ago (think it was when Ally McCoist & the other one were captains) & she said it went on for HOURS cos they kept mucking it up
