It has come to the attention of the Committee that the electricity bills for these premises have increased to enormous proportions. They are now electricity williams.
Consquently, they have asked that members ensure that all windows and doors are closed to prevent draughts and that all unnecessary lights are switched off.
Candles have been provided in various convenient locations, but members must provide their own matches.
The chimenea is no longer in use. Those wishing ciggy breaks must make their own arrangements with coals, shovels etc.
Tonight's raffle prizes, appropriately, include
a fleecy blanket (some dog hairs)
a hot water bottle cover (pink, knitted only one hole)
half a pair of blue bed socks
half a pair of orange bed socks
ood evening Marjorie - so sorry I missed you there (once I get my eyes down, well anything can pass me by). I think Pru has a lovely kind caring side too. I hope you have many happy years together - it is all that means anything really.
I could do with winning the socks - or even a sock, my feet feel a bit cold here tonight,
I must protest milady, ttfn wouldn't stoop so low, (well she can't anyway), but she probably used Martha Longhursts hat pin to pick the winning numbers.
I fail to understand your drift Ladyalex, we are far more real than almost all on here, we live and breathe and have real lives, and a cash injection of £44,000, surely you cannot be jealous??? It is a very sad evening for chatterbank, goodnight. We are very dissapointed in you.
I don't think I can cope any more
people pretending to be other people and then other people pretending back......and yet others not existing or being imaginary , then saying that they are not imaginary....
Jolly good, Uncle Joe has returned waving a Wigan Athletic flag. I give up!!
Hand over Monday M'lady, sure his lordship is missing Unk, last saw him on the highway flagging traffic down looking for Joe.
Goodnight,xx
Never mind gran - you won my friendship a while ago ♥ (Be afraid, very afraid!)
I didn't use the hat pin - I am not making it any easier for the raffle fixture;o)
