How nice she looks in simple dresses which show her good figure. Why does she spoil it all in her wedding outfits.

Great News Woofie!! He'll be home in no time.

Nice dressing table - well done!!

Sleep well

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
heavens, sounds like Mr Woofy will be dancing the black bottom by tomorrow, which is more than I will.

Had dinner with my favourite magistrate, who is grumpy about all the riot cases being taken away from magistrates and handed to distict judges, who she thinks are more susceptible to being leant on by politicians.

She also has showbiz links, and her top tips are that Strictly this year will feature Jason Donovan, Rory Bremner and Russell Grant.

The usual warning: if it happens, you read it here first; if it doesn't, you didn't.
Good morning Biddyfriends. Got up at 6.00 was wide awake. So pleased to hear about Mr. W. and well done with your Ikea 'putting together'. At least you didn't put the legs upside down on a chair like I did with one of my kitchen chairs! I keep saying I'm never going back there again but I do..Loved the posh sardines!!

I went to town yesterday and bought a Berghaus waterproof jacket for walking in. It was in the Sale and was £85 but I got it for £50. I may have been conned but I love it. Foldaway hood, high neck, velcro tight cuffs when it's tippling down and totally waterproof and warm. I'm not ever getting soaked again like I did last Saturday coming home from the match.

Hope you are feeling better today Robi. When I walked to the paper shop this morning it was quite fresh but not like it was yesterday.

And everybody else hope you are Ok and that you have a good weekend.. usual one for me.. Oooo I do miss my Friday night out. That used to get me through Saturday. Never mind I've got a book I can read and I can listen to The Rams on the Radio. They're playing away today.

Laters 'gaters!
I was up at 6am your time) making potato cakes, egg anbd bacon for hija before she went to work. Then I tidied the house, had a cuppa and went back to sleep until Mr N woke me up at 9.45 to do the damn shopping. It's amazing how much emptier the shops are now (the Spanish and French having gone back, only the Brits and Germans to cope with , we don't mention the Italians!). Then went I had gone out for a coffee and to collect my euromillions winnings (8.05€) it poured down, torrential, the roads were about a ft deep in water, so I waded through cos you can't hang about. It stopped after about 10 mins and is quite hot again. Been searching for a Barca football shirt no. 4 for autistic nephew in Oz, finally found one 50€ (rip off, but hey!)

Hope Mr W is improving.

Hope Mr s is feeling Ok.

Hope Robi is feeling better.

Hope the rest of us biddies are fine and in good spirits (No shaney get your head out of the whisky!)
ps, I bought a new handbag 8.55€ reduced from 28.50€ cos it's end of season and had some marks on it, love it.

What is the weather and temperature over there so that I know what clothes to bring over. Guess it'll be jeans although my size 12 probably will not fit the waist (what waist) anymore. First port of call in Eastbourne will be M&S for the cheap straight leg jeans!
Just spoke to sister re catheter, andshe says yes he did have a general anesthetic (sp?) so was pleased when I said that was probably the cause.
am I talking to myself again I wonder!!!!

Wrote a long screed this morning and lost it together with the internet!!!

Be back later.

Hello, by the wya.
Good evening, thought I'd better pop in so you don't send out a search party. Had a crip day healthwise, it seems to be two steps forward & then back again, but I'm not going to bang on so don't close the page :o)

I'm sorry there's so much illness in your family neti....the weather here's cool (cold by your standard) and will probably be anything from about 16C to low 20's over the next couple of weeks dahn sarf.

Great news for Mr w & you woofy & well done on the diy! Very stylish, hope you've got some pearls and lacy things to put in it...go easy with the mothballs :o)

Where did you get your coat Jude? I need a new waterproof...not that I do much walking, I just want to look as though I do :o). Mind you I'm hovering my mouse over a 'best coat', I haven't bought one for years, only casual & parka styles,
http://www.debenhams....Women~Coats+&+jackets

lol @ Russel Grant on Strickly, that I have to see.
Speaking of dancing, just a bit of trivia for you - I didn't know until today Wayne Sleep arranged the tango sequence for Death on the Nile (1978), I watched it earlier for the umpteenth time but I do love it.
'Monsieur Porridge'...haha
Hi Robi, you do seem to be unwell lately, hope it's nothing too bad, and do unload if you need to. Yes my family is in the wars at the mo, but that's life, I have offered sissy any body parts she may need and brother is insisting on paying for her to have a second private opinion.

I am aching from left hip/buttock, left shoulder and left eye socket, will prob go to medico this week for some decent painkillers for when I go to England, can't be hobbling behind the really ill ones!

Hope everyone else is Ok, 'spect that jude is marching somewhere, where does she get the energy??
Hi Everybiddy. Sorry you're still under the weather Robi. Get well soon.

Hi again. Sorry you are off colour still Robbi. I would be OK if everything didn't damn well hurt. Took another knock out pill last night and woke up at 10.30am this morning. Put some washing out, did a few jobs and then everything hurt again, so had to sit down for an hour or so. Then did a bit of really light weight gardening. Back, neck, shoulder and feet are all killing me. Am going to try taking my arthritis tablets again for a week or so.

Your coat link won't open for me Jude, the whirly thing just keeps whirling. Robi, thats a nice coat. Like you I have been thinking about getting a good coat, but have decided that I probably won't get much wear out of it, so am probably going to invest in a warm parka. I have a light weight one which I love. Keep toying on this one, but I really want a grey coat and this is Khaki.

I like this too

http://www.marksandsp...r=1-72&qid=1315086489

But not waterproof and no hood, but come to think of it I never put a hood up anyway.

Nothing to watch on television tonight. I ended up watching Casualty while we had dinner!! Never watched one all through before, but it was either that, X factor or some program about the Normans.

Going to bed after a swift scoot around AB.

Love to you all and hope Mr Woof is still making excellent progress.

Night, Night.

Oooh there's Shaney. Yooo hoooo xxx

(I will probably end up with another Berghaus - you can't beat them really)
Question Author
The Berghaus link has now opened. Very nice Jude.
I am told I have to vacate the kitchen for a couple of hours on Monday because somebody is doing an interview about pomegranate juice.

More on this implausible story when I find out what on earth is going on.

Meanwhile, I hope everyone and their husbands are getting better.
Just called in to say Goodnight all. Take care everyone. Hope things get easiers for you Woofies and that everybodies aches and pains g away PDQ.
I'm off to bed now. See you tomorrow when Shaney and me have another go at the Skeleton in the Express....... whispers to the others..Shaney's so clever - she always beats me to it. Night Night!! xx
Good morning all.

Lovely day here at the moment, but it will probably get v. hot.

Hope you are OK Robi KBO (now that I know what it means!)

Thanks for good wishes for my family, but guess there's not much can be done.
Sister doesn't have to change the actual catheter, but the day and night bags which leak sometimes, I've offered to do it when I get there, and he cringed, so guess I'll stick to the shopping then!

Hope Mr W is recovering well.

Is Mr S still waiting for an op (I do get confused by everyone's ailments but try not to).

jno I'll vacate my kitchen whenever anyone wants me to, but it'll be for demolition not filming :0(
