I also have a basic Argos toaster (£1 boot sale) and it is fine. I do have an electric grill in the mini oven, which I use for browning food. All spanish cookers have a silly grill in the oven so of course it gets greasy and then gets bunged up, ridiculous, so whenever I get a new cooker Mr N takes the grill out so I have more room in the oven (they are also quite small)

Agree all fat people shouid be shot and kids belted to within an inch etc but not old women over 60 wearing jeans cos I do!!

I am going to go out today and see how long I last. My back has been giving me gyp since I went to carnival - okay, I was wandering around for about four hours, but humans are supposed to be able to do that. Any my osteo is on holiday.

I am aware however that many biddies have worse things than sore backs to grumble about, so I am only mentioning this in a polite whisper.

Dull and cloudy here and I'm just going to venture out too. I need a light switch .Nearly managed to blow us to kingdom come last night .
One of the bulbs had gone in the light fitting and I put a new one in and it went bang and tripped all the lights ! Well it would when I put 100watt in instead of 40 :(
This buggered the switch and I couldn't turn it off ,so had to take all the bulbs out .Good job we also have lamps .
Talk about a fiasco fumbling round the house with a torch .
Mr.S tutted greatly and said why can't I leave things alone !

In village we found on the pavement an open purse with a 500€ note sticking out, so I picked it up (hija saying keep it keep it) but
the brain was thinking, if it is stolen then why leave so much money in it sticking out,and who these days has a 500€ note anyway cos the shops won't change them, so I picked it up and handed it to the shop in front and said I will inform the police that it is here. Mr N said that I should have looked in it and taken it to the police myself (hija still saying you should have kept it!). Then Mr N went home and called me saying the purse was back on the pavement and it was a lure to tempt people into his shop, What a cheek, So I am pleased that my family saw my honesty.

Please feel free to moan away jno, I'm right with you...everything (and I mean everything) between my waist and knees is turned up to maximum pain-wise. I feel like I've been riding a bloomin horse from pole to pole, it's most miz making. It can all be part & parcel of fibro & I'm avoiding going to the doc at the moment as I don't want to be given any medication I don't need.

Now don't go playing with any more leccy shaney, we don't want you blowing the soles off ya tartan slippers. Aren't your overhead lights on a separate circuit? When I had a dodgy switch & it tripped it all off I just put the sockets back on at the control panel (or whatever you call it).

Eh? Re the purse neti, what if someone picks it up and takes it away? (and what about the 500 euro, I assume that's been removed?) Gonna cost him a fortune to keep putting new lures out there, hahaha...I think he'd better think it out again.

Just one of these tatty jewellery shops, big beaded bracelets, etc. It certainly didn't work with me, as I didn't even bother to look at the goodies. But I do look when not hampered by honesty, so it's a dounle edged sword (don't really know if that's relevant, but I like saying it!!! (
