I have some static dusters like that, including one that goes behind radiators (that I had forgotten about). They don't get used very often because I don't dust very often!

well, it's sunny at the moment but the weather forecasts disagree on whether it will start raining at 11am or 1pm. Same tomorrow, when we are supposed to be heading into faraway Essex to see Stortford Sis. Last time I was at hers I got stung by a bee, but that was because it was sunny and we were sitting outside. I don't expect this to happen tomorrow; we are mor likely to find ducks paddling round our ankles.

Very very hot here again today. Have had to buy 6 packets of 10 navy blue pegs as my white ones are disintergrating in the sun, and there are no white ones to be had, and must stick to the same colour as it is so much easier to hang the washing without worrying about matching the pegs, I know, I know!!!
Bro in law had his toe op this am, so all should be plain saleing now if it gets better, then heart op when I am there!! I don't think sissy has told him yet that I am going to England, I would have thought he would have been delighted, tut tut! I certainly didn't think he had to be warned!

Hi All. The Rams lost today I'm sorry to say and there and by 45 mins each way. One the way back the Heavens opened and I was dripping wet to my bra and pants and had do get straight in the shower and do my hair again. I'm now sitting in me nightie and dressing gown. (a Summer one). Didn't take my brolly - what am I like!

Massive storms and bloody great hailstones. Seems to have settled a bit this evening.
Oooh that comic proms looks to be good Jude. Mind you I really want to watch Will Young tonight, who I think is very talented. Have seen him live and he was excellent. I shan't be watching X factor!!
I just have a peg bag full of allsorts and use what I grab first. Plastic, wooden, all sorts - although I prefer the wooden ones. But I'm not fussy at all.

By the way, I have been having a turn out all afternoon. Getting boxes packed for collection by Master LL. My cupboards were full of his stuff, Scalectrix, Micro Machines, Remote Controlled Cars, Warhammer Games, and loads of soft toys as well. He has a bigger house than we do and a huge loft. He will moan, but who cares!!!

Mr N griddled steaks and peppers and carrots (delish), toms and pots and they were lovely, but the kitchen was a mess! I was gutted, the cooker was all burnt and splashed and grease everywhere, so have actually put on the dangerous (to my mind) dishwasher and I have scrubbed the kitchen and cooker with wire wool (it's a 10 yo cooker and spanish so never looked good anyway), mopped the floor and had a dip in pool and now watching last night's corrie in cool bedroom. It would be easier for me to cook the dinner myself next time! Am on midnight taxi duty tonight!

Ooh thanks Jno .I'm not fussed about matching pegs but I know someone who is and they will make an ideal pressie for her birthday along with a book I've got her .Brill .
Lol Lofty ...I still have boxes laying about for the Picky child to pick up .
Mostly modelling stuff now ,a coin collection, 21 Beano annuals and four tyres for a Skoda car ,which is still stuck on the driveway .
As for the other ones stuff in the loft I expect someone will come across it in 200 years time and gaze in awe at Action Man ,Transformers, a box of assorted comics and various sticker albums .
I'm still lumbered with the bloody train set though .But have put lots of stuff underneath and my niece finished the curtains to hide it all .
I can amuse my self during the long dark winter nights and pretend I'm the Fat Controller :))
