HI All. I'm pleased all went well today Woofy and hope the news is good tomorrow.


I've had a fab day in Windsor. We arrived there about 11 and walked into Eton then had a lovely lunch in a pleace called Zeros! Then a walk up to the Castle for some photos. Afterward we went to Runymede (sp)!! and went on a boat up the river and on the way we had a cream tea. (scones and clotted cream and jam). We left at 5 and didn't arrive home until 9.25 pm. We were stuck on the M1 for hours. But I had my music on my phone which got me through that. But that wont take away the fact that I had a great day out with a beautiful sunset to end it on the M1.

I off to bed in a little while so you all have a good night and Shaney please leave the electrics alone!!!!

Yes Winsdor is lovely .Glad you had a good day and are home safe and sound

My electrics are fixed .My brother put a new switch in for me and the correct lightbulbs .
I may buy one of those headlamps like miners have for these sort of emergencies .'Cos I can never find the ruddy torch .
I have got a tripper thing but that would have meant all the lights and appliances ( fridge) out downstairs and I couldn't leave the lounge lights on all night because I couldn't turn them off at the wall and I didn't want to make Mr S. get up and come and look ..
I don't really understand electrics and he's told me off .

There used to be lots of those headlamps around here shaney, Tarquin uses them for caving. Why do they make torches black?! Shouldn't they be made of that glow in the dark stuff? Oh look out Dragon's den, here I is with a spiffing idea.

Good morning all. Hope all is well with Mr. W and you Woofie. You're on my mind again today.
I's a lovely day here and I would like to go down to the shops but have to wait for a parcel which has been promised today by the post office online. I have my doubts about it arriving. I hope I'm made to eat my words.
Since I cut the bushes back at the bottom of my garden the birds have deserted me. I really hope they decide to come back soon. I still put food out for them but it doesn't get eaten very often.

Had a good sleep last night and didn't get up til 7.30 which is late for me but I'm on track again now.

I'm jinxed with these lightbulbs .Got into bed last night ,opened my book and the ruddy bedside light went ping !Only the bulb though and I looked very very carefully at the wattage before replacing it .
Love the headlamps Robinia ,but they are expensive . I'll see if I can rig up something with a Prices Candle on a stick :)
Been a lovely day here andhave sat in the garden all afternoon with a book.
I'm off to bed shortly as am out shopping on the morrow and my brother goes out before the streets are aired .
