I want a Fatboy!
509 Answers
Does anyone have a Fatboy Original ? If so, would you perform a small experiment for me please! Is it possible to mould Fatboy into a 90 degree angle lengthwise, i.e. the way you would "fold" it if you were to place it as temporary padding on a wooden settee? Thanks!

Cheltenham must feel more like New Orleans these days once the levee's broken. I'm not sure there can be any rain left for the west after what's landed on my garden. When St Peter asks me how I got there I shall say 'I collapsed after an afternoon spent pushing water uphill'. Wot an exercise in futility, I lower the lake a couple of inches then it just fills up again, I suppose as more water seeps downhill from the back of the property to replenish it.
Well, perhaps it's better than sitting staring at the floor wondering why nobody's putting a new one in like what they were meant to.

Yes ..it's just a smear test .Literally .You smear the gubbins onto a bit of paper over a fortnight .Cameras up bums are not involved .You post it off and get your result . All they are looking for is blood in your poo. It's a fecal occult blood test .

Evening All Well what a lovely day today. First T'ai Chi day for 2 weeks so I was really ready for it. I go in the morning Kit Loved the drawing paper by the way but I'm not as adept as you all are. I've had a go at a drawing but that's as far as I get. As for putting it on here there's no chance.
I've cheered up a bit now. Not so Mizoggy as I was!!
I'm well into Master chef on the telly and watch all of the programmes. Anybody else like it? There's not much else on tonight. Last night I went to bed and watched A Few Good Men with Tom Cruise and Demi Moore and fell asleep so missed the end.
Hope you all have a good night see yer later 'gater(s)

Do you like Masterchef Jude ? I always find those two men so patronising to the contestants .They slurp and slosh over the food that's served up as if they had never eaten a decent meal .I always feel so sorry for those that have tried hard .Mind you I am not one for bits of art deco food on a plate anyway :))
I ask you... two prawns on a bit of rice ?
My old man would have a fit if I dished that up :)
You are quite right ..there is B all on tele .
I did watch Who Do YouThink You Are with Fiona .That was quite good .
I've come across an awful lot of stuff amongst my Mum in Laws effects .The most recent being beautifully bound autograph books ..what the Germans call Posiebucher ..from the year dot . The handwriting and quotes are amazing .
Makes very interesting reading .And ..really poignant stuff about the world wars .I have even come across receipts for furniture they bought in 1949 :)

God day possums! (I still dont know the correct greeting for the middle of the day god day sounds Australian doesnt it?)
It's easy to delete your account on Facebook Neti, I've deleted one of mine (a false name one) as some Italian guy kept sending me messages in Italian. I think he was asking if I was so-and-so from his school days and I couldn't even tell him that I wasn't 'cos if I had done that I would have automatically made my profile page visible to him for a whole month just by answering his message! It was driving me crazy thinking of him waiting and hoping but not getting a reply from what he probably thought was an old sweetheart of his...
You should know however, if you're at all tempted to stay a member, that it's possible for you to do the privacy settings in a way which ensures that only your Facebook friends are able to see what you're up to. The rest of the world will still be able too google to find out whether you're a member or not, but they won't be able to access your profile, if you manage the settings correctly.
You mentioned Steptoe & Son earlier, Shaney. There was a teve series in the seventies here called Albert & Herbert which we ripped straight off the Steptoes, he he. Wikipedia says the producers collaborated closely with Ray Galton and Alan Simpson throughout the project. Here's a one-minute sample of our take on it. Dont know if youre able to tell that the accent is very special its set in Gothenburg.

You'll have to get up earlier than that to fool me Vincent....where's that bus (hahaha) going to....?
oh I see....

Ha ha Vinny I thought of pasting that into Babel Fish before I suddenly saw the light. Seen your new drawing, it's really good and really scary bad trip huh? BTW did you see this
Oh that's a long absence jno! Wait, I'll give you something I got for Shaney when we thought she would have to go back to Germany again, but as she won't be needing it it's yours - stay in touch with us won't you.

Well I'm going to miss the Kitchen Kronicles, fancy leaving us with a cliffhanger....will the lino ever get laid? Will the bin ever swing? Could you fix up a webcam so we can keep an eye on things jno? You never know, some kind person might send DIY SOS round to finish it off for you....
<runs off to call Nick Knowles....mmm, mmmm>

Oh, Neti, I just discovered I was wrong about being able to google whether somebody is on Facebook or not - that, too, depends on your settings. Can't google me, for instance. My point: You decide who see's what. Personally I don't use it much, as most people I know aren't members. But my two half-sisters upload a lot of photos that I'd probably never get to see unless I were their Facebook friend ;-)
