It's a lovely day here so I've washed sheets and bath towels etc. Mr N cooked lovely lamb in mint gravyand all the trimmings
Now eating Easter Eggs! But no alcohol as I couldmt find any!
Glad you enjoyed your day with family jno. Hija said dada first!
I have spent over an giur connecting our firestick to unsmart kitchen tv to prepare stick for our hols in case we qet bored. I could not remember any accounts or codes but eventually got it going. Mr N will have to go to dinner and I'll stay in room and connect it all again!! Had to unscrew tv from wall and space was too small for a screwdriver! Also tv was very sticky so cleaned it! Nice day but arctic wave expected!
Well we have an end of season sale down the main road. Sun and showers. I nipped down and managed to get black baggy trousers and a blk/wte top. Well pleased.very strange weather!
Hope all biddies far ( oh that'll be me!) Are fit and healthy! And rab!
I actually went out for a walk today, braving my sore knee (which behaved very well). So nice to get some sun. Quite busy out there in the wide world and few people wearing masks, even on the tube.
hello all, yes pleasant quiet Easter with Sis here. Rab is having good days which is lovely. We did a bit of pottering in the garden today and I did some kitchen sorting out but its definitely cold here despite the sun. Glad to hear your knee is behaving Jno, my back is NOT. Waves to all the biddies and waves to Wolf
Oh dear what a load of old crocks we are. Mr N is planning all these sight seeing a but I very much doubt I'll be capable of walking far. I may have to imbibe some Red bull to get me going! I'm just planning on what nice clothes to wear at dinner!
I finally got seen any a specialist 7 hours later. then I was left in an empty for half an hour supposedly waiting for an analysis so I scarpered. I was cold tired and hungry. I'll check with my Mexico when I get back from hols. I know it was bad but Id had enough!
Hija had cooked dinner and it was so nice to be fed, bathed, warm and in bed!
T actually knock the Mexicos as they were excellent with the walking wounded. X-ray then doctor then home. My misfortune was waiting for a specialist! I wish they had told me.
ah neti, I had long conversations with two people today. One has been waiting weeks to see a neurorolgist and has had to give up her job in the meantime. The other one has labyrinthitis, affecting her inner ear and her balance. She tried playing golf yesterday and fell into a ditch, face down in a bed of nettles. She is traditionally built and her partner, old and small, had to fetch help from the clubhouse to get her out again.
Both of them had observations to make on the subject of old age and declining health.
had a lovely day in the deep south (of the river) visiting jno jnr and family - went for a pub lunch (I swear baby O ate more than me, and I had a big cheeseburger), strolled in the park in the sun, and went back and watched Hey Duggee for a while. O is sort of walking but still finds it easier to crawl. Still doesn't talk, just babbles, but nursery seems to be making her more self-confident, or maybe that's just growing up.
Good morning. Never having heard of Digger I googled and it's a cartoon?
Big fiesta yesterday and Mother's Day here today. We went out for drinks and tapas and there was music everywhere. We all followed a mexican walking band and it was like the pied Piper great music and great fun. Summer has arrived and yes I know I dislike summer but it's ok it's not too hot. I've been waiting 8 months to see a rheumatologist! Hope everyone is ok.
I'd heard of him, wolf, but not seen him. The cartoons are very short and not specially meant to be funny, the characters look more like 2D stuffed toys. At the end of each one he awards all the kids a badge for something (the kids are all called squirrels, though none of them seems to be one, they're other little animals) and then they all have a group Duggee hug before their parents take them home.
Good morning all, not much to report here except we have had a little much needed rain and my laptop is sick. Its going back to Apple for diagnosis and repairs. Fortunately they do an everything fixed for a fixed price deal and although the fixed price is not cheap its considerably cheaper than a new one. Did I say I'd had a stomach bug? Went down with it last sunday and today is the first day I feel normal. No idea where it came from as I haven't visited or had visitors, maybe the Russians infected my mail.
Neti, you have to take better care of your health!
Old age is definitely not for wimps though.
I have no idea who Duggee is, the littlie I know is a Frozen fan and has got his own toys so he can be like his big sis. He was a babbler too then overnight seemed to move to speech. He is the son of my adopted godson's brother.....horrifying to think I have known his almost 40 yo father since he was a bump!
Anyway back to work. I have pulled out the whole of my understairs cupboard and now I need to put it all back :(
Kbo all, huge wave to all the biddies
