Dear Robi I do hope your brother is feeling comfortable, and that you are OK! x

morning all, sat here with a cup of coffee with a splash of baily's in it and a decent biscuit...somebody or others original caramelised biscuit...dead crispy and they dunk well...also can share with dogs as no chocolate or raisins.

Nice to see you back Vin...as others have said, take your time...Robi I hope your bro is picking up. I should be tidying up the kitchen but I'm not...instead I am playing with a new trial version of Paintshop which I will prob end up buying but trying to talk myself out of it...
So glad Mr W doesn't fly any more, it used to be a big part of his job...now he only careers around the countryside on big motorcycles for fun....we have a deal about it, the first time he injures himself I am going to take a hammer to all three of them. The hammer in question is a big lump hammer my dad used to use for smashing coal when I was a nipper...he knows I mean it and is very careful!

Gotta go, the dogs are creating merry hell in the garden and it is Sunday!
later dudes

Have just come back from a glorious lunch, the weather although sunny was cool with a light breeze, we ate in a local Ibicencan restaurant (twas the House of 1000 hippies in the 70's) ate charcoal grilled lamb chops and steak and peppers and toms - it was fab, really enjoyed it. (apologies to all you veggies out there). Now off to watch "Pride and Prejudice" (sorry marm) Mr N is watching the Grand prix or something!!!
Hi people
Mein Internet connection went Kaput on me and I had no one to help me get it back .Picky had left the building .But my niece rode to the rescue .I also boogered up the printer and had an inky crisis and loads of copies of the Speccie crossword pumping out of it all over the floor .I think I pressed a wrong button somewhere ,I couldn't get it to stop !
.
Robinia I am sorry to hear about your brother .I hope he'll soon be a bit better .Lot of worry for you .Chin up lass xx
Nice to see you again Vinny hope you are OK .
Nothing exciting to report from Mouseytowers except the weather is nice for a change and the mice don't need their brollies today . .
What is it with all us biddies and internet? I was b*ggered for 4 days, Woofy has probs, and now you! KEEP FINGERS WHERE THEY BELONG AND STOP PRESSING THINGS!!

"Keep your fingers where they belong" she says the Neti - you ain't seen nothing yet: I managed to crash an entire web site yesterday just by hyperlinking to it using html... (of which I know nothing, I just copy and paste, and I've found some wonderfully instructive sites.) I made alink from my haiku blog to a haiku journal and it worked like a charm - for a couple of hours. Splendid hours! I felt very competent! Next thing that happened was that when you clicked that link an ugly white page appeared, saying "hacked by", followed by a long number. Is that number me? I have no idea! You shouldn't be able to crash a site by linking to it from Blogger - should you???? Had to tell them about it of course, especially as they are planning to publish some of my haiku, ha ha... ha... or should I say were planning to... Still hoping it's nothing to do with me, just an odd coincidence. Remember my entire internet connection crashed a couple of weeks ago? well that wasn't my doing! ...was it? We should work together, Shaney - you'll do the printing!

Bang bang Woofgang Silver Hammer, that's brilliant, it's like a scene from a film! Men are funny creatures aren't they, I bet he drives more safely thinking about your hammer coming down on his machine than thinking about his own safety?

It's a good thing you're back Vinny, I feared you had been marooned. Loved that dog story :-)

Thinking of you, Robi.

...and waiting for holiday pictures, jno!
Morning all - Robi I do hope all is well with your bruv.

swede aha!! so you are the Hacker causing all our problems no?? I think it's very clever to hack into anything, I haven't a clue how to. I used to panic when on Windows 98 it said "You have made an illegal move" I honestly thought the American airforce was going to land in my garden and arrest me, I never understood it!!!!

Well, I have watched Pride and Prejudice, so sweet and that Colin Firth << swoons >>
<<Umm>> Have we moved??
not me, neti, sitting slumped right here where I've been for weeks now... ah, retirement...
Hey is that another survivor I see , hurrah!!!
Well I've just nipped in to say hello and there's only 2 of you been and gone. Hi Neti and Jno

I do hope you are ok Robi and your brother is improving.

And Vinny hope you too are feeling better.

I'll call in tomorrow and hope to see more of you here
Goodnight All xx
ah well, I've been working on titivating my Turkish photos - always takes longer than the trip itself but wot the heck, I have all the time in the world. The end is nigh! I should be able to post some links soon... when I get one of these
I've got a Round Tuit ..very useful .Used it for years in a backwards direction .In fact I have never got around to using it !
This retirement lark isn't all it's cracked up to be yer know Jno .Some people seem to think we are the worlds worst nuisance once you become an Oap!
Don't you dare go to Harrods in the lunch hour in case you get in the way ....

At the stroke of midnight on your 60th or 65th birthday or whatever the case may be you are a pain in the neck apparently .I'll slump along with you as my bones ache today from a lot of garden bashing yesterday.
I'm off to Norwich tomorrow on my free bus pass to shop and gossip and be a pain in the neck to the general public:))
Hope you are OK Robinia and show a leg please Vinny .....http://12121.hostinguk.com/YAPPING%20SEAGULL.g if

I'll keep nagging
What, no Jude...? And Neti's been abducted by the American Airforce for making illegal moves, we must presume. In the absence of Robinia somebody has to say TUT! Neti did you notice, yesterday, that you posted within the same minute jno did, as if you'd been hiding for hours behind your computer door just waiting for someone to enter ha ha ha! Thanks so much for the round tuit jno, I've needed one all my life. Did your foot get better by the way (now that you have time for walks.) I sent your hawthorn article to my sister and she pointed out it's not hawthorn bushes they've bought, it's sea buckthorn. I always get them mixed up - sea buckthorn in Swedish is havtorn... bloody languages. It's sea buckthorn jam I love! (Perhaps they're alike? Robi?)

My friend who had to have major surgery again is feeling better, such a relief. BTW the last time we met she had a compass dangling from her handbag, her husband gave it to her... he he, I need one of those too; when I walk into a shop I don't know whether to go left or right when I come out of it again.

A new season of Wire In The Blood started here, I don't know how far behind we are. I love that Robson Green but this episode was so scary I had my eyes closed and my fingers plugged in my ears half of it... When I was a kid I liked the saloon fights in Bonanza, but these days I can't take even that. But oh when they rode through that map, and the music... did it air in the UK? Shaney you crime queen you does it ever get too gory for you...?

here they come!

You could be a way back Kit .A new series has just started here . They've replaced Hermione Norris with another actress. There's only a couple that are actually based on Val McDermid's books ,the rest have been based on the characters and written for television .
Hello there everyone I'm having a bad day. Tried to get out the front door having unlocked it but it wouldn't open so I'm using the back door now until my doorman comes to have a look. I may end up having new locks and bolts.

I don't know about anybody else but I'm quite worried about Robi not being here.

I have a 'round tuit' Jno I put it into use a lot!!

Been to our self-help Tai Chi meeting this morning there were 15 of us and we had a good session. The room is only big enough for about that number to work in so we are having to say no more can join at the moment. I've found a lovely little coffee shop near by so I nip off for ten minutes half way through for a quick cappucino.

Talking about losing the way and compasses Kit I was once in the changing rooms of a store when my sister rang me on my mobile and she said where are you and I had to put my head out of the curtain and ask the assistant which shop was I in!!!
I love the Wire in The Blood series. It's the 2nd part on Friday of the new series which started last Friday. I shall have to record it as I think I will be out.

Well that's about all for now off to wash my hair. See you later 'gater(s)! x

Hi all - have been busy helping chicho in Chatterbank whose friend's daughter-in-law fell from a balcony here in Ibiza on Monday morning and died, so I've been in touch with the Brit consul and finding out what I can for her, so sad.

Mr N decided to start clearing our jungle today so have also been bagging up the refuse, and preparing the dinner and me with (can't spell it)" the runs!" Daughter is now here in a hotel in Ibiza will see her tomorrow.
Yet another man - The Doorman! The gardener, the plumber, the electrician, the... will it ever end? Nope, and why should it!

Yes Jude I'm worried about Robi too, I do imagine she's going through a rough time. Hope we're wrong.

Talking 'bout mobiles I was at a lunch place and a woman came in, looked around and picked hers up to make a "I'm here but where are you" call - and a ringtone was heard from the loo... Another time I was standing in line at a caf when the man in front of me, with two cups on his tray, made a call asking "how do you take your coffee?" The woman he was calling was seated five tables away. /Wire In The Blood, oh so you're starting a new season too. The one which just started here was about a cannibal force-feeding his victims - are we in the same season?

jno slump yourself out of that recliner there's a good pensioner and go and answer my question in P&S please.
Oh Neti that's horrible, is that chicho as in Buenchico? Such a nice guy.
