Trying to recall a television series from my childhood. This would have been in the late sixties or early seventies. Can't say if it was American or British and the only clue I've got for you is that every episode started with the hero listenig to his new assignment on a cassette tape which always ended with the words "this tape will self-destruct within thirty seconds" - something along those lines. Driving me crazy!
TIA (back tonight to say thanks to anyone who's been able to put me out of my misery, as it were:)

No pain nausea or raised temp so i am staying up a bit to check on him before getting some sleep. I am hoping its just reaction to the scan and not a kidney infection, can't face a and e again and have no faith in the out of hours service. if you are reading this think something positive at me please. Robi I hope you are feeling better soon. Haven't you forgotten that you were a child bride and adopted Tarquin???
Anyway happy birthday to him and warn him that its all downhill from there, the hair stops growing on your head and starts growing out of your ears and the girls call you luv and offer you their seat on the bus.
Lottie a mate of mine at work did the splinter in leg thing and ended up with cellulitis, so you've had a lucky escape!!
ime to do the Flo Nightingale act then hit the hay.

Sorry to hear about hubby Woofy . Am thinking positive thoughts for you both .Please think some back to me too.Mr S. had a call today and has to go for a CAT scan and blood tests on Thursday now .This was unexpected as he had only been booked in for day surgery on the 24th .So I'm a bit anxious.
Yes nasty old cellulitis .I've had it on and off for over a year caused by mossie bites .
It's left me with a duff leg :))
Much cooler and dull today ,few spits of rain .
Glad everything's all clear for you Jude and anyone not well or under the weather get well soon and take care .

Oh lordy, don't remind me about parties...thankfully both of them only ever had one each and refused to have anymore...obviously locking them all under the stairs for a couple of hours & telling them it was how you play sardines did the trick. :o) I just checked his facebook to make sure he hasn't organised a bash & put my house as the venue...and where it says religious beliefs he's put 'Hippy', lol.
Wishing you & hubby have a peaceful night woofy, things always seem worse after dark, but hopefully he'll be fine by morning.

What a rollercoaster of emotions reading these past few hours of posts - so happy for your good news Jude! Yours seem kinda promising too jno:) Wow, I'm impressed by how polite you were not mentioning which doctor had prescribed the aspirins...! Woofy seems to me they often forget to tell people about after-effects of procedures and people are scared sh1tless and then they say Oh but's that's normal, weren't you told? Shaney that's a very good hypothesis from Robinia ^^right there. My money's on that one.
I had a very fine evening indeed at the newly opened Museum of Photography, in the building which was planned to house the ABBA museum. I've nothing against ABBA but a photography museum of this dignity is just mindblowing, I loved it. Amongst others there was a huge Annie Leibowitz exhibition and a Swedish photographer Anders Petersen who is very good also. The cafe was... did I use the word mindblowing already, well sorry I have to use it again. My friend (the dream interpretation blogger) and I sat by the window and it was just like on this Flickr photo only sunnier and lots of boats and ferries gliding past. What looks like a photo frame here is actually the window frame. You almost feel like you're sitting in the water, it was mindbl- ...sorry http://www.flickr.com...78293/in/photostream/ Oh BTW as I arrived at the museum I saw the Queen Victoria of the Cunard Line!! More about the museum http://www.thelocal.se/26778/20100521/

Jude Steadmeister is brilliant:) Such a nice young man, and his mother always running around town dropping her earrings - I'm sure you mentioned losing one just a week ago? Now we know why: Free hugs! Tut! Lottie when I took my bad fall this winter a handsome fortyish man rushed to the place saying "I'm a doctor" and he held my hand too just like yours did, for ages and ages. Eventually he revealed he had been checking my pulse... TUUUUTTT!!

Doc's just left. He was very good, took his time and we are now waiting for an ambulance to cart DH off to hospital for intravenous anti bis and hydration. Doc thinks its a kidney or urine infection too. Dogs were brill. Normally I shut them in the living room and all hell breaks out, this time not a peep.(pause ambulance has arrived and taken DH to the local general hospital) Its now 3 am and i normally take the dogs out at 4.30 so I may just stay up and do that.
