Trying to recall a television series from my childhood. This would have been in the late sixties or early seventies. Can't say if it was American or British and the only clue I've got for you is that every episode started with the hero listenig to his new assignment on a cassette tape which always ended with the words "this tape will self-destruct within thirty seconds" - something along those lines. Driving me crazy!

I've seen that paint trick done with nail polish as well Robi but I don't remember what they called it; there are special bowls for the purpose and the end result is a nail decoration.

13 C sounds like heaven to me, sheer heaven. The nightmarish thing is that my place doesn't cool down at night even. Been googling and making phone calls but it's like a fairy tale where in all the Kingdom not a fan could be found. I've ordered a tower fan on the internet but as I couldn't find any product reviews in a hurry I went for a cheap one. Been witnessing the most absurd discussions on Swedish forums these past few hours, people are desperate, asking each other things like "If I place the fan with the back to the window, right, and if I secure a body bag (!) to it with duct tape, right, and if I fasten the other end of the bag to the window frame so that the body bag forms like one giant funnel with the wide end to the window and the narrow end at the rotating blades, right, would that be a good way to suck fresh air in, cos my place is 40 degrees..."
