ipod problem

when i connect my ipod to my pc it disables my mouse.  I know my ipod works as I have had it connected to another pc.  Any ideas?

Hi, Can anyone figure out what the problem can be of a dial up connection continuely disconnecting, I mean every minute! The phone line is only used for the computer so its not incoming calls etc......
