Sorry Ed to post here, its naughty I know but I can't think of another way to do it. I love the new skin on the orangedog forum, but I can't get past the first page and that took 3 attempts to load. I tried the memberlist or click on a name link to people's email but can't open them either

If I don't tell you, you will think that you have been deserted....

Morning all. Thanks for your compliments about my bro. I think he's magic. He is 50 next March, Amazing!
Dolly great to see you. sorry I missed mentioning you on one of my recent posts. Please don't worry about the warty things. I have lots of them and I go and have them zapped. I think they are frozen and then the just drop off. The nurse just sprays them with something out of a can and says they are very common in older people but not everybody gets them.
Well we didn't get much of a 'storm' did we? Sorry you thought it was bad Robi. I did wake up in the night and it was raining but I didn't think it was very blowy..
Maths, I'm not too bad. When I left school I went in an office and was an accounts clerk for years. I think I might have told you before so sorry if I'm repeating. Anyway in those days accounts were all hand written in ledgers and then something called Kalamazoo and so I got to be pretty quick in adding and subtracting. Later on when I left work I still worked from home and did my friend's books and vat returns also I did 3 pubs in Derby catering accounts. (I'm not bragging it's just the way it is.) I'm not very good at many other subjects. Not bad at French though but what good has that done me! Now if I'd married a Frenchman.....
Lottie why don't you take the exam. I did my French in my 40s not A level but I did get an O level equivalent. I'm with you on the words thing as well. If I come across a word I don't know I have to look it up. I think all this wanting to know business is a Virgo trait. But I must add I don't believe in the 'stars' thing but you can't help reading it can you.
Sounds like a good garden party was had by all Jno. when's you next 'adventure' going to be.
I have to go out now for some money to pay one of my workmen friends. He did some tarmaccing (tarmacking?) for me and finished it while I was out on Sat. so he wants paying.
Have a good day all of you
Later 'gater(s)
Fortunately Robi, not anything like scabies, definitely bites. They come up individually and respond to HC cream and they don't spread. Mr LL had some but he doesn't seem to be getting any more.

Just going to order the cheaper, uglier boots. I got one size larger last time. This time I shall get black, not red!!
hmmm, I always thought you could get scabies from cats and dogs but it seems not...maybe some other kind of mite though Lottie?

Those wellies look ok, but what the heck's crocs butter? Will a daub of stork do?
Blimey !! will you all get in an orderly queue please :~)
Orderly Jude? ORDERLY?!....I'm single, the nearest geographically and in age
...<<<elbows all the old marrieds out of the way>>>
I hope your friend didn't just throw a bit of topping down & scarper while you were out...I know how to lay tarmac ya know :o)

Speaking of foreign languages Tarquin could have done with shaney's help yesterday ...he makes me laugh...exerpt from his blog

"Imagine my horror this morning at 6am the small child in the next tent decided to serenade the entire site with some incomprehensible German nursery rhyme.. and then to my utter dismay, the little sh1tes father decided not to silence the child, but to join in!
Whilst in the middle of me translating into German the phrase "i'm going to kill your child with a spoon!!!" I hit upon two... not one... but two great ideas......."
Well Robinia, I am having panic attacks here now. I haven't got a rash quite like the horrid photos I have just googled, or on my hands or wrists, but have now made an appointment go go and see Nurse Sharon at 2.00pm because I think you could be right!!

The animals are clear and not scratching, but Mr LL had a very similar rash, but it has gone.

OMG. I am unclean!!

I shall have to get a bloomin' season ticket to see the nurses!!

Yours, having palpitations,

Lottie x

(Laughing at Tarquin's Blog!!)
Don't worry Lottie, I've (well it was 'we' at the time) been there, it was mystery ailment No 3 (early days of mystery ailments). It's a bit of a rigmarole to clear it but once it was gone, it was gone.

I am a giant crocs fan but wonder if the wellies would be tough enough to walk in the forest? I have punctured normal crocs on sharp stones in the summer.
Did the spots look like gnat bites initially Robinia. These do. I have just phoned Mr LL and he has none at all now. I am so tired at the moment I am now panicking that I have a dreadful illness and all this is a sign of a supressed immune system. This is an example of just how anxiety gets to me. Absolutely no reason to get so wound up, but I just do.
I don't think so actually Woofy. Probably the first ones I linked to would, but definitely not the cheapo's. I think my first pair might be leaking because of a puncture wound. They are very comfortable and great for the garden - well they were before they leaked!!
Robi, surely it's rabies you get from animals not scabies ... you frothing at the mouth at all, Lottie?

Woofgang, this is for all you giant crocs fans...

I have just checked jno and scabies in humans is different from scabies in animals, phew. No need to check the animals then. I know they are OK. No itching or anything. That would only mean Mr LL then, if it is scabies and his rash has gone!! I haven't had close contact with anybody else just lately though. Daniel Craig wouldn't reply to my invite!!

As yet, no frothing at the mouth.

Anxiety now abated. Or as my dear Nan you to say 'debated'!!

Thanks for making me laugh jno!
Will report back later!!
Hello itchycoos
Oh dear Lofty .Slap on some Allo Vera Gel . I constantly itch especially with this weather we're having. There are all sorts of creepy crawlies about . Don't scratch at it if you can help it . I grit my teeth with itchies I'm so terrified of another bout of cellulitis .
It rained quite a bit but not sloshing as forecast and it's done nowt here. It's still warm and muggy .It keeps blacking up and then the sun comes out .I've put some washing out and hopefully it might go over .

Dolly, fear not ,my sis in law was very moley on her face and had them zapped with no problem .

I'm totally lost re the wellies and handbags ,but I love those shoes .I haven't worn wellies since Shaney's demise.

Hahaaa..robinia ..German nursery rhymes ..I know loads ....Alle meine Entchen schwimmen auf dem See.......Köpfchen in das Wasser, Schwänzchen in die Höh......
I could drive you potty ..................... :))
Backe, backe Kuchen,
Der Bäcker hat gerufen... ....
I used to sing these all the time to little children ....hahaa...

Yes you must all do further education .I did some at various times just to prove that I wasn't as daft as I'm cabbage looking :)
I have a degree in handbag management :)
Of course silly me jno :o) We were no where near as bad as the horror pics either Lottie, it was like what you're describing. I was sure I was clean to the point of obsession so when the doc said what it was I felt sick with embarrassment & guilt but he was very reassuring.

well nothing's more sickening than what I just foolishly read on R&D :o)
oh shaney you sneaked in...haha, I'm not surprised he wasn't too happy if this is a sample
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bQ-nrsLvfM
sing along now....
Poor Amelie doesn't look at all impressed :)
Do you know I was singing along there .Brought back happy memories actually :)

Anyway ..wellies ... i couldn't really get along with them . And they were green wellies polished within an inch of their life by the butler :))
They were hard to walk in for me with my arthritic feet and made my feet feel clammy .
The best dog walking boots ( and for the garden ) are a a pair Mr S's cousin got for me from her riding place .( She's a horse owner) .
They're what they call mucking out boots and they are fab .Not very elegant ,but warm and keep your feet dry in all weathers and I was so grateful for them in the snow last year as they grip .
I'll see if I can find them somewhere .
What's R&D ?
relationships ...under B&S... old post
Ah I see Robinia . .One category I never look at .
I would never dream of telling or opining on someones relationships or love life etc .
I'm a bit old school .if you make your bed you lay on it otherwise get up and change the sheets :))
I can't cope with angst and people who need to lay it all bare ....and it's donkeys years since I had a date :)
