I really really fancy a steak & kidney pie. What's the next best thing to home made? Plenty of excuses for not doing my own at the moment! (individual please, not family size....so sad).

neti how big is this creature? I know nothing about them but can't you dob a plastic tub/bucket over it...slide something underneath & Bob's your auntie? As I did when I had a frog in the house?

Good Morning each. Another beautiful day today. My normal Tuesday except when I went to the paper shop I lost my house key. Realised half way home and went back and it was on the floor by the counter. They know me there and I'm always doing daft things. The las time I lost my key I found it in a rackof crisps at the front of the counter.
That's a good idea Robi, I always use that method to help little creatures out the house. I get a lot of bees coming in my back door |(don't know why)and I 'steer' them out with a news paper.

Oh I wish, but it scarpers very quickly and the ceiling is too high. It's about 2 and a half inches long (now the tail has gone) and about 1" and a half thick. I've taken a foto of it but can't download it cos computer is playing up again! I really cannot stand sleeping with it, cos they have been known to lose their footing and fall, and I know who's head it would fall on. I threatened Mr N with a fate worse than death if he abandoned me in the room. It's gone into the big top wardrobe cupboard cos they don't like daylight! and can only reach that with a ladder, so ladder, me, gecko = disaster!!!!

Oh and they cling like mad to any surface so nudging them or poking them is totally useless. Guess it's time for me to leave home and set up residence in sterile bubble, safe from all maurauders.

Revolting critter! Of course I couldn't get near it, so looks strange but they are like little crocodiles with rounded nose!
