Britain First - Paul Golding

Appears at court today but what of the charges he faces? The 'uniform' charge is bizarre to say the least. Short video in the link where Golding outlines the situation.

mikey, the mosque is being built on a car park adjacent to the station, which is a key commuting point for workers in London. as well as the loss of that facility, the local council has arranged a deal with the train company for the mosque to block-buy nearly 80 spaces in their own car park. thus aside from the disruption of the building work itself, the resultant...

Not one of my threads has been removed so I take it I am not in breach of Site Rules. If a mod or the Ed wishes to comment so be it and I will respond. I have not been abusive either.
I can assure you this is not a publicity seeking exercise, look how many people have joined in the various points!
Way back, I was asked four questions which I readily answered. I'm not on trial here and won't be kowtowed or coerced. I have not asked anybody else what their political leanings are have I?

> It's supposed to be a debate about Paul Golding, not what political allegiance AG may or may not have.
Er, no. People can't just post propaganda on here, even if they pretend that it isn't propaganda. There's a site rule against it.
Britain First's Facebook activities show them to be skilled at propaganda, so there's no reason to suspect that they wouldn't also target a site like AB. Can you recognise propaganda when you see it?

Yes, nothing promotional at all. Not even the link to the video, right there in the OP at the top of every page, before a single answer had been given.
If you were truly unbiased then you would have also linked to some of the more detrimental things being said about BF, in places other than their own website.

Your denouncement at first amounted to blaming the Electoral Commission for approving the use of the name. You skated over the fact that it was someone at BF's bright idea to use Lee Rigby's name in the first place. You did later denounce them for this "error".
However, they make such errors on an ongoing basis. Do you denounce all of them?
For example, will you also denounce them for the use of Rik Mayall's name?
What about the use of Lynda Bellingham's name - will you denounce that?
What about all other past and future use of people's names without their permission? Can we take it that you denounce all of that?
Do you denounce their use of the poppy (a symbol of remembrance of the fight against fascism) to promote their fascist agenda?
What about their vigilante action - do you denounce that?
And so on ...

Erm......I thought one of the rules of AB(particularly News) is that users are positively encouraged to provide a link to the story. Looks like AG will be pilloried for providing information regarldess!

> past and 'future'?
Yes. Any future use of people's names, without those people's permission, to promote BF.
Here is an example past use (of Rik Mayall's death):

So, by "future", I mean will you denounce any future post like that? That image is taken from this page, which is also worth a read (e.g. it contains good coverage of the Lee Rigby error):

[i]Not sure whether to laugh or cry over the latest cynical bandwagon jumping by Britain First. They must have had this meme out within about an hour of the press announcement of the unexpected death of one of the UK’s lefty comedy icons. I am sure the friends and family of Rik Mayall have better things to focus on right now than this exploitation following their sudden bereavement, and I am sure the man himself would be roaring with indignant laughter,
About as hilarious as their invocation of Ghandi on their page yesterday as well. Apparently on account of his animal rights positioning – well, so long as we’d never let him through customs and immigration.[i]

> Regarding 'vigilante action', I think I have covered this before.
I don't think so.
vigilante: a member of a self-appointed group of citizens who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority, typically because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate.
Isn't that a fair description of Paul Golding unearthing an address that was known to the authorities and not released to the general public, dressing up in uniform, going to that address and harassing the occupants at that address, rather than letting the appropriate legal agencies handle it?
Do you think we have to date avoided another 7/7 in this country thanks to the actions of people like Paul Golding? Or would it be thanks to the authorities that he is looking to bypass?

Svejk - it's a simple enough request and she's already in fact agreed to it, so it's moot.

Fine when it's a link to a genuine story e.g. on the BBC or (less fine) in the DM! Fine when the position of the user providing the link is clearly stated. But, when posting a link to a video on a fascist political organisation's website, and then claiming no bias whilst providing no counterpoint ... not fine. It's propaganda.
